ATTENTION: ALL CHIEFLAND HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL SUPPORTERS:
Coach O'Neal and the 2011 Chiefland Indian Football team needs your
help.
Everyone is aware that this years team is young and coming off a tough
2010 year. Coach O'Neal is asking for support in showing the current
CHS Football team, that their community has their back!
Starting from the first game of the season on August
26, 2011, and continuing at every home game there after,
Coach O'Neal is asking that EVERYONE in attendance, line the football
field (2 lines) forming a "tunnel" from the endzone to the
sideline 5 to 10 minutes before kick off.
The 2011 football team will then make their way through the tunnel
leading to the side line. All the supporters will then exit the field
and get ready for the kick off. Coach O'Neal believes that this will
show the current team (as well as the visiting team) they are not
alone in their quest of re-establishing the football program.
What a great way of showing being a Chiefland Indian doesn't end
when you leave high school, but proves that "ONCE YOUR AN INDIAN,
YOUR ALWAYS AN INDIAN"!
PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO ANYONE YOU KNOW WHO HAS PLAYED,ATTENDED,
or SUPPORTS CHIEFLAND HIGH SCHOOL, and invite them to participate!!
